Kadıköy is on the Asian side, so the transfer from Istanbul Airport crosses either the Yavuz Sultan Selim or the 15 July Martyrs bridge. It is the longest of the IST city routes and bridge tolls apply, billed separately at cost.
For late-night arrivals the northern bridge is usually faster; for daytime arrivals the driver decides live based on traffic data.
